Shown is a staple motif design from this renowned British fashion house that originally was started in 1971 as a a small shop called “Sex” that Vivienne started with Micheal Mclaren, who was the band manager of the Sex Pistols, and the store quickly became the most popular clothing store for bands to get punk style pieces. She founded her namesake label in 1981 and her provocative and controversial designs played a key role in the punk aesthetic movement and pioneered punk style.
